The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra and Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metallic Inc. are coming jointly for a Labor Working day weekend concert that includes the tunes of rock legend Elton John.
Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. is the presenting sponsor of WSO’s Labor Working day “Music Less than the Stars” live performance scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5. The live performance, “Remember When Rock Was Young — The Elton John Tribute,” will be held along with a fireworks display at Oglebay’s Anne Kuckinka Amphitheater.
The orchestra, underneath the direction of Maestro John Devlin, will welcome Craig A. Meyer, who will accomplish some of Elton John’s greatest hits, which include “Benny and the Jets,” “Philadelphia Liberty,” and “Crocodile Rock.”
